The PCCB is an Independent Public Institution and law enforcement Agency established by Section 5 of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act No. 11 of 2007. The Bureau is mandated to carry out three major functions: Prevention, Community Education and law enforcement in Tanzania mainland.

Suitably qualified Tanzanians are invited to join our family in the following positions:

1.0 INVESTIGATION OFFICERS (214 POSTS)

1.1   DIRECT ENTRANTS (FROM COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES)

Applicants should posses three years Advanced Diploma or Undergraduate degree from recognized higher learning Institutions in any of the following fields: Quantity survey,Accountancy, Human Resources Management,Law, Procurement, Journalism, Information Technology, Highways Engineering, Building Constructions, Electrical Engineering, Land Management and Valuation, and Forensic Knowledge.
1.2   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

All applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania not above 35 years old.
Applicants should have a minimum pass of lower second class.
Applicants must attach their detailed relevant certified copies of Academic certificates:
Degree/Advanced Diploma Transcripts and Certificates.
Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates.
Standard VII Completion Certificate.
Professional certificates from respective boards (added advantage).
One recent passport size picture and birth certificate.
Postgraduate Degree Transcripts and Certificates (added advantage).
Applicants should have good working knowledge of ICT (with related software, phone, fax, email, the internet and computer applications eg. MS Office).
Applicants in the Law field must have Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Law School of Tanzania graduates) or passed the Bar exam and enrolled in the role of Advocates.
1.2.1 Applicants in the Information Technology field should posses the following qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Electronics/Information Technology.
Certificate in A+ or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) is an added advantage.

Additional Information
Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC) is a Christian international school overlooking the Indian Ocean in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with over 300 students from 33 different countries.
HOPAC follows the Cambridge curriculum and students sit IGCSE and A-level exams in grades 10, 11 and 12. For this reason, teachers must be experienced and have signficant knowledge of biology.
HOPAC expects teachers to be committed evangelical Christians with a Bachelor degree or higher, at least 3 years of teaching experience and fluency in written and spoken English. HOPAC provides teachers with a monthly allowance that covers a significant portion of in-country living expenses and then the teacher raises support for other expenses.
Children of teachers receive tuition-free spots at HOPAC. The school also covers all permit/visa costs and sets aside significant funds for staff development. Teachers are expected to be spiritually supported by a sending mission or home church.

Job Description
The School of St Jude is a charity funded school that provides a FREE, high-quality education to over 1,600 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha. St Jude’s has approximately over 1500 visitors a year.
We are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to join our team as the Visitor Program Manager. The Visitor Program Manager will have to work closely with visitors and all departments, so we are looking for an energetic communicator who can effectively manager relationships and has exceptional organisational skills.
A minimum commitment of at least two years is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, support and direct the visitor team in their roles
  • Liaise with the Australian Coordinator regarding, fundraising and merchandise sales
  • Joint working with Marketing Team regarding promotional materials and events
  • Monitoring staff performance and carrying out reviews
  • Manage and review finance procedures required within visitor team and accounts departments
  • Oversee the visitor experience for the school

GRANT WRITER
Job Description The School of St Jude is a charity funded school that provides a quality FREE education to approximately 1,600 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha. We are seeking an individualto join our Marketing Team as the Grant Writer, based in Arusha, Tanzania. The Granter Writer is responsible for conducting research and identifying potential opportunities for funding that the school is eligible to receive.
A minimum commitment of 12 months is required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research government, international development agencies, foundation and corporate grants
  • Establish and maintain relationships with funders

ESOL Teacher

Job Description The Tanzanian Children’s Fund seeks a full time ESOL teacher to work and live at the Rift Valley Children’s Village in Oldeani, Tanzania. Founded by India Howell in 2004, the Rift Valley Children’s Village operates in partnership with the Tanzanian Children’s Fund, and is home to 88 orphaned children. Located in a remote impoverished village in Karatu District, it is adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The goal of the position is to coordinate and teach a comprehensive ESOL curriculum to students in order to position them for future educational and professional success.
The specifics of this job include but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Management of the ESOL program at Gyetighi Primary School;
  • Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups;
  • Preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises;
  • Marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work;
  • Devising, writing and producing new ESOL materials;
  • Participating in extra-curricular school activities as required;
  • Organizing and facilitating teacher training sessions;
  • Providing support for one-on-one tutors as needed;
  • Coordinating with RVCV volunteers who can assist in teaching and tutoring responsibilities
