Conference Services Officer II


Procurement and Logistics Assistant II

Answerable to Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer
Qualifications and Experience,
Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma/Professional level III in Materials Management or Procurement and Logistics Management.
At least Two (2) years proven work experience in a reputable Organization. .
Must be registered by Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technician Board (PSPTB).
Must be computer literate.
Knowledge of any Procurement/inventory package will be an added advantage
Duties & Responsibilities
i. Handling procurement and supply activities at the Centre
ii. Enforcing approved procurement and stores regulations at the Centre
iii. Preparing budget plans for procurement by estimating and forecasting consumption of materials and services in terms of value and volume
iv. Purchasing supplies and recording of purchases and materials in store
v. Supporting and implementing the functions of the AICC Tender Board
vi. .Assisting user Depts in preparing statements of requirement
vii. Perform Vendor performance evaluation
viii. Preparing contract and other related documents
ix. Preparing Monthly and quarterly procurement report
x. Issuing approved bidding document to the Bidders
xi. Enforcing implementation and control of procurement and budget
 

Security Officer II


Accounts Officer II

Answerable to Senior Accounts Officer
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or its equivalent from a recognized Institution or its equivalent.
At least three (3) years working experience
Must be computer literate
Duties & Responsibilities
i. Handling accounting activities
ii. Advisor to the Chief Accountant in all accounting issues in the Centre.
iii. Ensuring that financial plans and budgets are prepared and submitted to the Chief Accountant well in advance before the end of financial year in order to facilitate approval of the new financial year’s budget by the Centre
iv. Ensuring that books of accounts relating to revenue, expenses and grants are kept accurately and timely according to accounting professional standards established by NBAAfrom time to time.
v. Recommending accounting policies and procedures to the management and ensuring their strict implementation after approval by the Centre
vi. Ensuring that monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the Centre are prepared on time
vii. Ensuring that statutory returns and accounting books and ledgers. are maintained according to the accounting professional standards
viii. Making sure that the books of accounts are audited by external auditors’ within the required legal period and presented to the Centre
ix. Answering all internal and external audit queries accurately and on time
x. Implementing sound control systems and procedures of physical property, cash cheques, receipt books and other accountable documents
xi. Proper valuation of closing stock and fixed assets at the end of the financial year
xii. Ensuring that annual stocktaking and stock balancing are undertaken timely
xiii. Ensuring that payment of taxes, salaries, imprests, creditors and statutory contributions is made timely without incurring penalties
 

Human Resource & Administrative Officer Cum Executive Assistant

Answerable to Senior Human Resourceand Administrative Officer.
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Management Education, or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
Holder of Ordinary Diploma in Secretarial Services with certificate in Management Development Program for Executive Assistants Level I & II with.
At least five (5) years work experience in a similar position in a reputable organization/institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Responsible for efficient and effective management of human resource matters in the Centre
ii. Implementing the staff regulations and administrative procedures of the Centre.
iii. Implementing changes in personnel policies introduced by management .
iv. Providing information on employees’ benefits entitlement and welfare.
v. Following up implementation of matters arising from performance appraisal interviews.
vi. Responsible for efficient and effective management administrative matters in the Centre
vii. Ensuring that the Centre’s properties are insured and well documented
viii. Ensuring that incoming and outgoing mail are properly handled by the registry
ix. Ensuring that the Centre’s motor vehicles are properly handled and maintained
x. Scheduling and overseeing preventive maintenance of the Centre’s motor vehicles
xi. Typing and word-processing various documents and electronic information
xii. Communicating and providing information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups
xiii. Interpreting instructions and issuesarising, and then implementing actions according to administrative policies and procedures
xiv. Receiving and answering fax/telephone calls/intercoms using a professional and courteous manner and directing them to the appropriate places.
xv. Drafting simple letters and other. correspondence of routine. nature accepting or rejecting invitations, acknowledgements, etc.
xvi. Prepare and facilitate internal meetings, process records of the proceedings and follows up action taken.
xvii. File classified letters and other important documents; retrieve records and correspondences and keeps sensitive material in confidence when required. .

Assistant Nursing Officer II


Maintenance Technician – Electrical

Answerable to Senior Maintenance Officer
Qualifications and Experience

Holder of Form IVNI certificate of Secondary Education with Full Technician Certificate/Ordinary Diploma (National Technical Award Level VI) in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
At least three (3) years working experience in related field
Must be computer literate
Duties & Responsibilities
i. Assist in the maintenance and repair of Centre’s facilities
ii. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
iii. Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance services
i. Ensuring inspections of conferences and offices are done according to the laid down procedures.
iv. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
v. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in fair, ethical and consistent manner
vi. Ensuring maintenance and repair are done properly and professionally.
vii. Repair and replace worn out or damaged property.
viii. Keeping records for every maintenance and repair works undertaken.

Terms of Employment: Permanent and pensionable except for the posts of Records Mahagement Assistant II, Receptionist II and Maintenance Technicians (Electrical and plumbing) which will be under contractual basis.
